Contract Withdrawal Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Your Right to Withdraw
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may have the right to withdraw from your contract with Afrofa within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Afrofa of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement.
The easiest way to do this is by using our online Contract Withdrawal Form:
Once your withdrawal statement has been submitted, Afrofa will review the information provided and contact you with any necessary return instructions.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To withdraw from your contract, please provide:
-
Your full name
-
Your email address
-
Your order number
-
The product(s) you wish to withdraw from
-
Any other information that helps us identify your order
You do not need to provide a reason for your withdrawal.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, Afrofa will reimburse all payments received from you for the withdrawn goods, including standard delivery costs where required by applicable law.
Any reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Afrofa may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been received or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.
Returning Goods
Returned goods must be sent only to the return address provided by Afrofa after your withdrawal request has been reviewed.
Please do not send products to any manufacturing, fulfilment, or production address shown on packaging or shipping documentation unless specifically instructed to do so by Afrofa.
Returns sent to unauthorised addresses may experience delays in processing.
Condition of Returned Goods
You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
We recommend returning products in their original packaging whenever reasonably possible.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Certain products may not qualify for the statutory right of withdrawal where an exemption under applicable consumer protection law applies.
This may include goods made to the consumer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised goods.
Where an exemption applies, Afrofa will inform customers before purchase as required by law.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights relating to defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact Afrofa as soon as possible at:
Please include photographs where relevant so that we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
These situations are handled separately from the statutory withdrawal process.
