Refund policy

Our policy: no returns or exchanges

Because every Afrofa piece is made specifically for you when you place your order, we are not able to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect size selection.

This is not a decision made for our convenience. It is a direct consequence of how we make things — and why.

When nothing is produced until it is ordered, there is no surplus stock to restock a return into. There is no warehouse of waiting garments. Every item that exists was made because someone wanted it. Accepting returns would mean producing garments that ultimately go unsold, discounted, or discarded — which is exactly the cycle of waste we built Afrofa to avoid.

We take this position seriously, and we believe being honest about it is more respectful than hiding it in small print.

What this means for you before you buy

Because we cannot accept returns, we want to make sure you order with confidence. Before placing your order, we encourage you to:

  • Check the size guide on each product page carefully and measure a garment you already own to compare
  • Read the product description, including the material composition and fit notes
  • Contact us at hello@afrofa.com if you have any questions about sizing, materials, or anything else — we are happy to help before you buy

We would always rather help you make the right choice first time than leave you with something that does not work for you.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we will make it right. This is unconditional.

Please contact us at hello@afrofa.com within 14 days of receiving your order, including:

  • Your order number
  • A clear photo showing the issue
  • A brief description of the problem

We will review your message and arrange a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible. We do not require you to return the faulty item in most cases.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us at hello@afrofa.com as soon as possible after placing it. Production begins shortly after an order is received, and we cannot guarantee cancellation once production has started.

If we are able to cancel before production begins, we will issue a full refund.

EU consumer rights

Afrofa is based in Poland and operates under EU consumer law. Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, this right does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised — which is the case for all Afrofa products, as each item is produced individually upon order.
